The cooperation Project “Employment and Rural Heritage” is promoted by Consorcio Guadalteba, in the frame of Euroempleo program, financed jointly by the Social European Fund and the Andalusian Service of Employment of the Council of Employment of the Junta de Andalucía. Regulated by the order of October 5th, 2009 for the participation in the Program Euroempleo, it places inside the possibilities that the rural tourism offers as creator of employment.

The increase of this type of tourism is creating the necessity of qualified and specialized professionals, as interpreter guides of the rural heritage who are difficult to find in these zones.

That is why there is the necessity to promote the acquisition of professional skills and take advantage of the endogenous and human resources of the territory.

The project “Employment and Rural Heritage” proposes to explore the possibilities of employment in the increase of value and management of the rural heritage, designing programs and formative adapted itineraries and in turn, doing professional practices for the new forms of knowledge and the diffusion of the heritage.

By this way it is intended to increase the employment of the unemployed population of the territory and in turn, training to qualified professionals who could develop their professional career in emerging jobs related to the management and the increasing in value the rural heritage (historical and natural); and to extract new knowledge of similar practices developed in other territories and be able to transfer them in order to improve the active policies of employment related to the employment training and the intermediation of unemployed population.

The main aims of the project are:

• Promote active policies of employment developed in rural areas
   
• Favor the economic diversification in rural areas
